Since Sunday at midnight, there has been an increase in the amount of heavy rain in Mumbai city and its suburbs. In the early hours of today morning, several places experienced severe rainfall as well.

Mumbai Rains weather Report for Today Mumbai: Since Sunday at midnight, the intensity of the rain has grown throughout the city and its suburbs. As of this morning, some places have also seen a significant amount of rain. In the meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has forecast that, in the following three to four hours, there would be isolated areas of Mumbai that will get moderate to intense rain.

Mumbai has had four days in a row of heavy rain. Since midnight on Sunday, the rain that had been falling all day has started to pick up again. There has been a lot of rain in the suburbs of Kandivali, Andheri, Jogeshwari, and Goregaon since 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. Here, it’s still raining. In the meantime, the Meteorological Department has forecast that within the following three to four hours, certain locations would see an increase in the amount of rain. In the course of these 12 hours on Sunday, from 8 am to 8 pm, more than 150 mm of rain have been reported in certain places. Trombay recorded 196 mm, Ghatkopar 191 mm, Chembur 186 mm, Wadala 174 mm, and Shivdi 160 mm of rain during this period.

Rains are currently occurring throughout the state as a result of the development of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal. There is higher rainfall in Ghatmatha and Konkan. Also, as long as the powerful low pressure region is in place, the monsoon winds will continue to be southerly. Mumbai is now seeing a lot of rain due to a parallel low pressure zone that stretches from the coast of South Gujarat to North Kerala.

Mild to Moderate: Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, Sangli, Solapur, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur
