KK was born on 23 August 1968 in Delhi.

After graduation, KK also worked as a marketing executive, during which he recorded more than 35 thousand jingles.

In 1999, he released his first album titled 'Pal'.

KK's song 'Tadap Tadap Ke...' from the film 'Hum Dil Chuke Sanam' released in 1999 was a special hit among the audience.

On 31 May 2022, while KK was performing a song at a musical event in Kolkata, he fell unconscious and was declared dead by the doctors at the hospital.
