Erangal Beach, which is close to Aksa Beach, is a breathtakingly beautiful beach. This lovely beach can be found in the Malad neighbourhood of Mumbai. A lovely scenery surrounds the Erangal beach, which includes hills and paddy fields. It’s also known for offering spectacular views of the “setting sun” as well as low-key crazy night celebrations. It is located 2.9 kilometers from Aksa Beach (via Madh – Marve Rd).

Erangal Beach as tourist destination
A year ago, the Maharashtra State Government attempted to plan and develop the Erangal Beach in to a tourist Destination and the project is headed under the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) whereby Aksa beach and Marve beach were also considered for tourist attraction. The plan includes overnight camps and sand bikes as an attraction for the visitors.
The agenda is to attract as many tourists as possible for this holiday destination. In addition to development of the beaches the areas nearby will also be developed to create employment opportunities for the local residents there.
The decision to plan and develop the sites was taken over a year ago and there has been no progress whatsoever until now to in regard to the beaches or areas connected.

How to Reach Erangal Beach
By Train: Malad/Borivali is the closest major railway station to this beach. Auto services are available from these railway stations to Marve Beach, which is close by.
By Road: The Western Express Highway is the quickest method to get to Erangal Beach from Mumbai. Google maps can also be used for assisting you towards the beach.
By Air: the Mumbai airport at Vile Parle is the closest airport. The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is well-connected to both domestic and international destinations.
