#MumbaiRains Latest Twitter Update: Will #CycloneSitrang hit Mumbai?

IMD has now officially announced formation of Cyclonic storm (Cyclone Sitrang) in Bay of Bengal by 22nd October. As per sources it will not impact the city but we will keep you update as soon as we get any relevant update.

Independent weather forecasting agency Mumbai Nowcast notified “Thunderstorm Alert Pune After record breaking thunderstorm yesterday night, Widespread Intense Thunderstorm approaching Pune Stay alert Many parts to receive 50mm+ in just an hour.”

Weather enthusiast Abizer Kachwala notified “One thing is very clear that Upcoming Potential System (Cyclone Sitrang) will not affect Maharashtra at all. Don’t believe Rumors’ regarding Rain during Diwali, super cyclone etc. Vizag to Kolkata at risk”

Abizer also wrote “As UAC moves south west from tomorrow onwards, gradual reduction in intensity, spread of thunderstorms will be noticed across MH. Thunderstorms still likely till 20th but isolated places only eventually Dry weather will take control and SWM will retreat.”

Weather enthusiast Abizer Kachwala predicted “SWM withdrawal on 21st October (+/- 1 day) 3️ days left”

Guys please do follow Abizer Kachwala, he did very great prediction and we hope he will shower his wisdom upon Mumbai in future whenever Mumbai needs him.

Thane weatherman made a prediction of “Light -moderate showers may begin in sobo, central and western suburbs.”

Well it’s clear that monsoon will cease by the 20 to 21 October as per the sources. As per the prediction Cyclone Sitrang will not make impact on Mumbai as Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh Brace for Possible Cyclonic Storm as LPA Brews Over BoB.
